Our Projects

NWKCP along with our volunteer teams can help manage and transform green spaces whether they are sites which need regular maintenance or perhaps have become overgrown and need restoring.

With expertise in ecology, botany and countryside management, we can provide support to landowners with many aspects of land management such as habitat management and creation, writing management plans and performing site surveys.

For schools and community areas we can help create outdoor learning spaces, wildlife areas, and gardens along with any other habitat management work.

We can also help find funding for projects.

Please contact us if you have a project you would like us to work on.

Habitat Management

We are experienced in various habitat management techniques such as hedge laying, coppicing and scrub clearance along with maintaining site accessibility and creating new habitats.

Management Plans

Management plans are a great way to help landowners to understand their land; the kind of habitats and wildlife present, as well as its history and how it has been looked after in the past. These plans also give detailed advice on how to manage the land, when and how often and how much it will cost.

Site Surveys

NWKCP can carry out full wildlife surveys on a variety of sites. Examples include botanical, butterfly, bat, invertebrate, bird, and small mammal surveys as well as species-specific surveys such as water vole, barn owl or dormouse. These can be done purely for informative purposes, as part of a management plan or in preparation for works to a site.
