The North Downs Way

The North Downs Way is a National Trail; a 153 mile walking route through some of the most wonderful countryside in the South East of England. The trail follows the footsteps of pilgrims, stretching from Farnham in Surrey to Dover in Kent, and Via Canterbury Cathedral.

NWKCP works closely with the trail manager, Peter Morris, to help maintain the North Downs Way in Sevenoaks District, and to improve local awareness of and access to the trail.

We have recently launched the North Downs Way Geotrail: a series of 6 geocaches in the Otford-Kemsing area.

What is Geocaching?

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. To participate, just download the free Geocaching app to your smart phone or GPS device, and off you go! For more information, please see Geocaching
